Journey Map
A journey map outlines complex journey that involves multiple events, several stages or involves more than one channel. I used a journey map to properly show my creative process. I also have used them in the past in my ESP classes specifically ESP 201 to map out a customers journey when using products.

Problem Statement
Problem statements are a way to find problems. The way to properly use it is is by using the formula stem+actor+action+so that+result. Then you word dance the result and/or word dance the actor to find the real problem. When going through the process seek quantity and ask questions before seeking solutions. Her is an example of a problem statement for me making dinner: wouldn't it be nice if Ethan made dinner faster so that he had more time to eat.

Insight Statement
Insight statement is another way to clarify what the problem is. It is done after lots and lots of empathy conversations and observation. The format is: I want/need ____________ because __________ but can't because _____________. Below are two examples of me creating insight statements for my warm room.

BUG List
A BUG list is a list of things that "bug" or bother you in order to find new ways to innovate. I used BUG list earlier in the semester to find ways to improve my room, and ended up switching the lighting in my room after BUG listing my room.

Word Dance
Word dance is when you take something that needs innovated and write down every single component of whatever it is that needs innovating to find the real problem. When practicing word dance there needs to be high in quantity. I use word dance in my creative process when brainstorming ideas. Below is an example of me word dancing everything that goes into me making dinner.
